Born to a mother who happened to be a displaced and disowned noble of Tethyr and a Wood Elvan scout who helped her navigate the Wealdath and reach Amn safely, Elena Canmore was born within the village in Citadel Bormul. Growing up and facing quite a few challenges being a half-elf, she quickly learned about her elvish heritage and the troubles she had to face being of mixed blood. Between martial training from her Elvish father, when she saw him, and the religious teachings of Selune by her mother, Elena grew up to become a devout and reliable young woman.
Enlisting under House Bormul in an attempt to prove herself when she was of age, Elena was able to put her skills to the test, further demonstrating that even if she was only half human that she could still be a dependable comrade. Participating in a number of skirmishes against the Winter Horde, it was only a matter of time before the Horde launched a full incursion and struck her homeland. Still feeling as if she had more to prove, Elena did not hesitate with any task or scouting mission given to her. Under the command of Major Olehm, she engaged in a number of bloody conflicts and battles, continuing to sharpen her skills and forging a stronger bond with her fellow soldiers, who over time came to accept her fully as one of their own, even if she was a half-breed. By Kythorn 1369, she returned to a life of relative peace, her time enlisted over, having served her Lord and country willingly and with pride. Elena resides in the port city of Murann now and serves the Moonmaiden, using the skills both her parents taught her and the divine blessings her Goddess bestowed upon her to attempt to fulfill her newfound duties.
Not one to idly sit around long however, Elena has begun to partake in outings and missions that stray further and further from the city and now has begun leading a somewhat of an adventuring lifestyle now, while keeping her teachings and experience close at hand to tackle what might come her way. Taking note of the diminishing wares of Murann and recent whisperings of a shortage of lumber, metals, and other luxury items, she knows that another conflict may soon be on the horizon. Regardless, she will continue to serve both her Goddess Selune and her homeland, Amn, and its citizens in whatever capacity she can.
