Kudos Thread

A general kudos to this lovely community, but in specific one towards all our current Guard PCs (stinky <3), Edd Boone, and the current roster of Palestone Knights who've all been awesome and made some narratives feel super alive and exciting.

As I'll be stepping back from the server to focus on my personal writing, I'd like to give big kudos to those I had great interactions with. Most of them my characters got to form complex relationships with and usually elevate every scene they're in, and are very enjoyable to roleplay with.

Mary - The first character I've ever met, the real OG wench and (un)official face of TDN. Helped really ground the setting and the tone with her presence and very enjoyable interactions.
Díolliun - The mustache of the Conclave. Without him and his contributions to the faction, it would’ve been a less unique experience.
Bran - Through Valen, we got to explore found brotherhood and a deep-rooted, nuanced friendship that was defined by many hardships and celebrations over time. Those interactions have provided the most development for him and revealed complexities about both characters that most never got to see and understand.
Enya - Like Bran, she was shaping up to offer Valen a really interesting dynamic.
Alison - A great third addition to complete a really enjoyable dynamic between Bran and Valen who was with them in their greatest trials and triumphs. Without her, both of them would’ve been dead long ago.
Bristle (and Lorelai) - A part of the team where many of Valen's strongest friendships were formed, although she unfortunately never got to grow with him like the others.
Sarya - Great character, very consistent. Unique worldview and often a voice of reason.
Sho - Despite only a handful of meetings, he taught Valen a lot about maintaining composure, understanding your opponent and constantly challenging yourself to improve. These qualities made him a much better monster hunter.
Caere - From what little we got to interact, she was a very interesting character and a great roleplayer.
Findelor & Lyrithe - Both are excellent, unique in their own way and have offered Valen significant insight.
Alvaro - Good friend and ally.
Aen'garael - Despite the little interactions our characters shared, his presence added some nuance to a side-story with Valen.
Eruil and Ar'belath - Always add a lot to the Conclave vibes and represent Y'Tellarien very well. We've had many great interactions.
Caerylia - The real Galadriel. Beacon of light and resilience.
The Watcher - Also provided many scenes that helped cement Valen's position and added to a side-story.
Silvaine - She is also one of the pillars of the Conclave in my opinion who has been around for long and introduced Valen to the idea of it. Her events for the faction have been great to be a part of.
Laremy and Duncan - I'll never forget the newspaper wars. They were one of the best experiences I've had in RP ever, and both are dearly missed.
Abelard - All our scenes were enjoyable to write.
Wolfeye - Funny as hell.
Altimare - For not being afraid to shake things up and being an interesting character.
Fat Dot - One of the first characters I've ever met as well, though her impact on my character wasn't as huge as on others. She has a big heart.

Shoutout to countless others as well who have made the setting feel alive and put in tremendous amounts of effort.

I still hope to bump into Valen, even if you'll be stepping back a little.
While my character does not exactly have the best prerequisites for deep friendship with humans, I think we all realize that the characters who represent a link between elves and humans, like Valen, are enormously important... not least because they don't always have it easy.
Kudos to you!

I gotta come up and say a big thank you to the people who played with me yesterday!

Danae and Artham are my gang, you deserve the first thank you!

But also a big thank goes to Marcelius, Veron and Mac, who kept the whole situation very poignant and enjoyable!

So sad Aodh had to leave, but also thanks to him!

Last but not the least, the DMs who made this world feel a bit more alive, Witchbane first but I need to give a big round of applause to Goblynn for the cool events!
