There is no suspense nor buildup to a magic anomaly occurring.
It happens too quickly where I don't even get to read what was thrown into the chat log because wisps appear and they start moving to my position or I'm already running away. There needs to be a period of time to give players a chance to at least read what is happening in a real time environment. The event prompts are wasted on me because I can't read them until the danger has passed.
Perhaps instead we could have a build up to a magical outburst where the player has suspense built upon them by triggering multiple text prompts warning that an event is coming or may arrive. Or have the main event text fire like 10 seconds before wisps start spawning, giving people a chance to read things first.
Its not up to me how magic behaves on the server, but I recommend incorporating more opportunities for the player to feel immersed and "feel" the instability of magic. The wisps now having text following them is a very good step. I would like to see more immersive feedback with magic rather than it being like an old fashioned pizza hut arcade game sitting in the grimey kids area where you deposit a coin and you get a random prize. Where in this case you cast magic and random pretty colors and effects start blasting every five minutes afterwards.
