This spell allows the caster to enact minor transmutations, possessing limitations that emphasize its role as a spell of convenience rather than an incantation of profound impact. Maintaining this spell's effects requires the caster's concentration and, should their concentration be disrupted or they attempt to cast another spell, the effect immediately ends. Upon casting this spell, the caster may select one of the following effects (only one effect may be maintained at a time.):
  • Spark: A tiny, flickering flame forms from the end of the caster's fingertip. The flame does not burn the caster and is far too tiny to bring harm to another creature. It is sufficient, however, to slowly warm a cup of liquid, light a candle, torch, or kindle a small fire given the right materials. If a fire occurs, it will continue to burn after the flame naturally dwindles on the spell's duration expires; suitable environmental conditions pertaining.
  • Cool/Warm: This spell can, to a limited degree, slowly cool or heat areas of non-magical surfaces, objects, and creatures with a touch - but if such a target is too hot or cold for the caster to comfortably touch, they may be harmed in the attempt. After this spell's duration expires, or the caster stops touching the target, if its natural state is warmer or cooler than the caster has forced it to become, it will quickly return to that state.
  • Magnify: By touching an object or creature, the caster can magnify its appearance to up to twice its size, but only to them. This effect lasts until its duration expires.
  • Clean: With a touch, the caster begins to clean a small, non-magical object of dirt and muck. This effect is permanent, effectively lasting until the object becomes dirty again.
  • Shine: The caster can cause a small, non-magical object they touch to gleam as if polished. This effect is permanent; at least until the object loses its shine again.
  • Mend: The caster may mend a single minor break, bend, or tear in a small, non-magical object with a touch, such as a torn piece of clothing or a bent key. This effect is permanent.
