Appearance

Fitchl "Walks-with-Beasts" is a nineteen-year-old Gur of the Lovari people. He is lean, dark-haired, and bearded, favoring practical caravan clothing over armor or finery. A well-worn guitar is often slung across his back, and he carries himself with the easy posture of someone raised on the road rather than within city walls. He spends more time observing than speaking, and often seems quietly curious about the world around him.

Personality

Fitchl is friendly, respectful, and slow to judge. He has a habit of listening before speaking and often repeats lessons learned from elders rather than claiming wisdom as his own. Raised among campfires, stories, and the traditions of the Guriya, he values hospitality, honesty, and keeping one's word. He is more interested in people, stories, and learning than in wealth, politics, or glory. Despite his youth, he is unusually comfortable around animals and often finds their company easier than that of crowds. When he offers advice, it usually begins with phrases such as:
"Katharutno used to say..."
or
"Old caravan saying..."

Background

Fitchl was born and raised among a wandering Lovari caravan whose routes carried them through the lands around Crimmor. During a winter storm, he earned the name Walks-with-Beasts after calming a hungry wolf that had approached the caravan, preventing bloodshed through patience rather than force. Having reached adulthood, Fitchl was sent on his Maladyilem, the traditional Lovari coming-of-age journey. His elders directed him south to Murann, where distant Lovari kin maintain a caravan camp outside the city. The purpose was simple: travel, learn from unfamiliar roads and people, spend time among other Lovari, and return home wiser than he left.

Fitchl has no prophecy, grand destiny, or personal quest. He is simply a young Lovari on his Maladyilem, learning how different fires burn and collecting stories worth carrying home.
